The Invermere listing real estate market seems to be starting earlier this year compared to the past years. The weather is nice, spring is coming early and our buyers are already here looking.  With 93 properties on the market you would think that there are lots to choose from, unfortunately if you are looking for a specific home in a specific neighborhood, there does not seem like there is a big choice. There is a lot of choice for the buyers in the near future and the sellers have priced it right to sell. This will make for a more balanced market.

The pricing has continued to drop, year after year since 2008. It is cheaper to buy a home than to buy a vacant lot and build unless you are the builder putting in your own sweat equity. The larger homes that are selling are at a loss for the seller as they were built post 2005, when things were expensive.

There are plenty of comparable sales to confirm pricing in Invermere for all types of properties. These can be provided by a Realtor.
